Technical Information

I did the music recording, mixing and video production on these videos (unless indicated otherwise) at the Creative Media Studio at SKH Lam Woo memorial Secondary Scholl in Hong Kong. Usually I make use of Sonar Home Studio (or Sonar X1 Studio), Goldwave and Magix Audio during the production process. The studio keyboard is a Yamaha Clavinova. The microphones we use are:

  • VRode Rode NT2-A (Condenser)
  • Shure SM57 (Dynamic)
  • GAKG C 4000 B (Condenser)

For the first several videos we recorded the audio first, often with overdubs, and then the performed lip-synced to the audio track when shooting the video. These days, however, we are just recording the performances live, so you will likely hear more mistakes, but everything looks and sounds smore natural.
